It wasn’t long after Chrissy Teigen announced that she’s expecting her third child with husband John Legend that she ended up going on bed rest for two weeks because of what she called a “difficult pregnancy” — doctor’s orders. “I didn’t really know that bed rest was, like, in bed. I honestly thought bed rest was you have to really, really, really relax, stay home. I thought it could be couch rest,” she recently told viewers of her Instagram Stories. But it turns out bed rest can include a little bath rest, too.
Teigen posted a photo to her Instagram grid on Sunday, September 20, in which she’s seen reclining in a chic white bathtub, her eyes closed, looking fully relaxed. And why wouldn’t she be? Her adorable daughter, Luna, dressed in a cute red dress, appears to be shampooing her mother’s hair.
“Every day she makes me a warm (not hot, chill!) bath and refuses to let me wash my own hair 😩 girls, man,” Teigen wrote in the caption. “@johnlegend how did we get so lucky with lulu??”

Friends and fans are in awe of the sweet gesture and left comments sharing their thoughts. “The love of our babies is so pure 😭 I wish everyone was able to see the world through their eyes 💕,” Tess Holliday said. Another commenter wrote, “Learning by example… She sees how good of a daughter you are to your mom 💞.”
This isn’t the first time Teigen and her daughter have bonded in a beauty-related way recently. In early September, the pair put on Disney princess sheet masks after Luna sent her mom on a mini scavenger hunt around their house.
It sounds to us, if Luna doesn’t follow in her mother or father’s career footsteps, that she may have a future in running a spa or salon.
